If you've got a four-legged friend in your life, chances are you wonder what they get up to every time you leave the house.

Well, you don't have to wonder any more as Amazon's number-one bestselling pet camera is currently half price.

Maybe you've come home to a shredded sofa, a raided trash can, or a suspiciously guilty looking pet and you can't quite figure out what they've done, and wished you had video evidence.

Alternatively, maybe you just want to watch them because they're super cute (no judgment here!) - whichever option it is, you can grab the number-one selling pet camera on Amazon for a crazy deal right now.

Just think of the hilarious videos you can get for social media too when they inevitably get up to no good - or just do something really, really adorable.

Not only can you witness your pet's antics (or just watch them sleep) with the 1080p HD Live View, you can even talk to them.

Whether you just want to say hello, console them if there's a little separation anxiety, or to tell Rex or Cleo to 'stop what they're doing, right now', the Two-Way Talk function lets you do just that, although we can't guarantee your pet won't just ignore you.

It comes with color night vision too, a remote activated siren in case of an emergency, and the motion detector alerts everyone knows and loves from the classic Ring Doorbell version of the camera.

You can also set up privacy zones, with blacked out areas or blurring for any parts of the room you don't want capturing.

Reviewers have been raving about the Pet Camera and singing their praises on Amazon.

"Bought this to keep an eye on my dog while I'm out. The picture quality and sound is excellent. So easy to set up, took me less than 10mins. Considering getting another one for another room! 5 stars!" said one.

That said, it isn't limited to just cats and dogs. One happy customer uses it to monitor their tortoise and ferrets!

"Such a great little cam especially for the price, clear images and live view seems pretty spot on speed wise, I bought mine to keep an eye on my tortoise Dandelion and our ferrets in their shed, it's really been a big help," they praised.

"Super easy to use and set up, my favourite part is when it pings 'There's a person at your Dandelion' and the person in question is a tortoise but it's a good laugh, picks up people really well to be honest but yeah, it often thinks my tortoise or my ferrets are people.

"All in all, really great camera and I'd 100% recommend giving it a try. Considering getting more!"

With 50% off, there's nothing to stop you buying multiples, especially if your pets have full roam of the house while you're out and about.

Another happy pet owner added: "The two-way talk feature is pretty cool; I can actually say hello to my dog from work, and it's a bit funny watching her react. The sound is good and clear, so you can hear what's going on in the room, too.

"It’s also got this neat little privacy cover, a small plastic slider that physically blocks the camera lens. It’s a nice feature to have for peace of mind when you're at home."
