'I promise this isn’t as weird as it seems'.
If you have to text that, then surely you understand that whatever you have done is pretty creepy.
Well, a woman from Texas has revealed what she has described as the 'creepiest' text she received from a complete stranger who has never even spoken to her, but saw her number attached to her suitcase at an airport.

Kirsten was at the airport when she received the unsolicited text message, freaked out by the whole ordeal she took to TikTok to share her experience.
The text read: "Hi Kristen, my name is Nate. I saw you and thought you were so beautiful so I had to find a way to talk to you.
"I saw your number on your luggage tag and decided to text you. I promise this isn’t as weird as it seems! Give a guy a chance?"

I think Nate may have watched too many rom-coms... what you see on TV doesn't usually correlate to real life.
Although over in the UK, the Metro, a free newspaper that you can get copies of at most train stations, runs a column for lonely lovers titled 'Rush-Hour Crush' and it publishes commuters' messages to strangers they see during their daily trip to work.
It is really creepy but quite a funny read... maybe Nate would have had more luck over in England?
Anyway, Kirsten shut him down in hilarious fashion.

She said: "Like what? First of all he spelled my name wrong second of all, if he wanted to talk to me so badly why didn't he come up and talk to me like a normal human being?"
Kirsten is right, but 'normal human being' has got me in tears!
It got a bit more serious though, she continued: "Like this just feels like such an invasion of privacy. I have no idea who this guy is like I didn't notice this guy looking at me or anything.

"I'm also extra weirded out because like I have my address on my luggage tag so he could potentially know where I live now."
Oh God, how creepy.
She added: "PSA [public service announcement] to everyone out there, turn your luggage tag inside out so that your personal information isn't visible and PSA to all creepers... do better."
Hopefully some guys will learn from this, instead of stalking a girl, talk to them and if they turn you down, then there's plenty more fish in the sea... just don't get creepy with it.
