While many would argue that men are more likely to cheat on their partner, a male stripper has said otherwise.

Aussie-based stripper Nath Wyld has shared some of his wild experiences in his niche job, and recently revealed a 'wild' trend that he's noticed at bachelorette parities.

The trend in question? Cheating.

"I was once doing a party where I’d traveled interstate and every single one of the girls in the bachelorette party cheated on their partners," the 31-year-old told News.au.com.

"It was so crazy, and they all made a pact that they would never talk about it again."

In light of the NSFW antics he's witnessed, Nath has suggested that women could be worse than men when it comes to being unfaithful.

"The narrative is always that the guys are always the worst, and they f**k up more, especially in a bucks party setting, but what shocked me is that women are no different," he said.

Nath went on to share the theory that women think they're less likely to be questioned or caught.

"Women are the same in that setting when there’s no guys around, and they do the same, and they probably take more risks, because I think they can get away with it being a girl," he continued.

In regards to brides in particular, Nath suggested that 'one in ten' of them cheat.

The reasons for someone straying from their partner vary, but one expert has said that there's six likely causes when it comes to women who cheat.

Relationship guru Tracey Cox said emotional neglect is one. This involves a partner or spouse ‘consistently failing to notice, attend to and/or respond in a timely response’ to their partner's feelings, as per Roubicek & Thacker Counseling.

There's also the idea that a woman might cheat on their partner as a form of revenge if their significant other has wronged them in the past.

“It's not just about evening the score: it's about reclaiming a sense of agency and dignity in a relationship where we feel wronged," Cox explained to Mail Online.

A woman may also cheat as a power move as it can be a way of 'reclaiming a sense of control'.

Cox said: "It's particularly common when a partner is overly dominant or controlling. If you're too scared to confront directly, doing something sneaky behind their back to make yourself feel better is the next best thing."
