Footage of an absolutely ripped kangaroo with gigantic guns has left people feeling a little freaked out.
Unless you live Down Under, chances are you probably don’t think too much about kangaroos on a day to day basis.
So when TikToker Jay Brewer shared footage of the jacked animal nearly taking him out with his massive arms, it quickly went viral, with people in shock over the size of the ‘roo.

In the clip, the marsupial – who has clearly been eating his protein – can be seen clinging onto Jay’s arms.
Although things start to look a little dicey as the kangaroo strengthens his grip, thankfully there’s a fence between the two of them.
But that didn’t stop Jay from expressing his shock, saying: “Man, you are a big kangaroo, those are strong arms.”

He uploaded the footage alongside the caption: “The kangaroos in Texas seem to be even bigger than the ones in Australia.”
Many people agreed, with the general consensus from users being one of pure amazement and shock at his physique.
As said by one commenter, “Bros gonna take ur lunch money,” while another joked: “He eat a lot of protein.”
A third quipped: “Bros has two guns just give him ur money so nobody gets hurt.”

Others shared their concerns about Jay’s proximity to the ripped creature, including this person who said: “Roos will literally rip you apart. Why do people not realise how dangerous they actually are. Sincerely, an aussie.”
In response, the TikToker pointed out: “Why do you think I stayed behind the fence.”
And if you’re wondering why some kangaroos look like they’ve been lifting weights every day of their lives, one Redditor was on hand to explain.

“It’s older male kangaroos that get jacked arms,” they wrote. “As they get older it becomes more difficult for them to hop, thus they support their body weight with their arms while trotting and their motion are kinda like push-ups, which results in massive arm muscles.”
As well as their massive guns, kangaroos use their razor sharp claws when they attack - but they tend to only do so when they feel threatened or are convinced you’re withholding food from them.
Hence why experts suggest to keep your distance if you do ever come across one in the wild (especially if they’ve got arms like this).

Of course, not everyone has followed these rules over the years – need we remind you of the man who punched a joey after it got his dog in a headlock?
Speaking about the viral moment, which rose to internet fame back in 2016, Dr Mark Eldrige, a kangaroo expert from the Australian Museum, said: “Male kangaroos have very big forearms and are very strong.
“The man was very lucky he didn’t get kicked. Before kangaroos fight, they usually size each other up. If one doesn’t back down, they will get into an aggressive encounter.
“I think the kangaroo was still in the sizing up stage when he was hit with the punch, and so the man was lucky the roo decided to call it quits instead of using his leg which cause a lot of damage.”
