The heartbreaking email Steve Jobs sent to himself a year before he died has resurfaced on Twitter, and people are saying others could learn a lot from his attitude.
Steve Jobs is one of the key reasons why Apple is one of the biggest tech firms on the planet and the late CEO was certainly a fascinating man.
Since his death all the way back on October 5, 2011 from pancreatic cancer, rumors have continued to float around social media about what his final words were.

And just like every celebrity death, the rumors are often mixed in with every manner of conspiracy theory.
But one thing we do know is the email Jobs sent himself before his death as it was shared by Laurene Powell Jobs, the former CEO’s wife, in 2022.
Jobs appears to reflect on his contribution to humanity and closes with a touching comment about people.

The email is dated September 2, 2010 and was sent to Jobs' own email account.
It read: “I grow little of the food I eat, and of the little I do grow I did not breed or perfect the seeds. I do not make any of my own clothing.
“I speak a language I did not invent or refine. I did not discover the mathematics I use. I am protected by freedoms and laws I did not conceive of or legislate, and do not enforce or adjudicate.
“I am moved by music I did not create myself. When I need medical attention, I was helpless to help myself survive.

“I did not invent the transistor, the microprocessor, object oriented programming, or most of the technology I work with.
“I love and admire my species, living and dead, and am totally dependent on them for my life and well being.”
Now if that doesn’t warm your heart I don’t know what will.

The screenshot of Job’s email has begun to circulate on social media again and praised the Apple head.
“Incredibly perceptive, contemplative and humble. Moving email,” one user wrote.
“Jobs' mail to himself shows how he understood despite achieving so much he was humble and understood he wasn’t the center of universe. World would be better if Elon, Zuckerberg and others would show the same humbleness imo,” another said.
“A grateful email. Don’t see too gratitude messages today. Self-hatred and self-destruction are more in line,” a third wrote.
