A shore store owner in Fort Worth, Texas, has shared his incredible hack for stopping people from stealing.

Chad Stewart opened his store, Laced Connection, in 2021 and given that he specializes in selling the hottest shoes on the market, security was a top priority.

Now, he reveals how he deterred burglars during a recent break-in this past Friday, 28 October.

In the early hours of the morning, three people broke into Chad's store. The owner explained to Fox News: "I think they came through this fencing area over here. They originally came over here to this bathroom window."

"I assume they were either up here [by the window] kicking it, or punching it, or doing something," be explained.

They couldn't break it though, and proceeded to move round to the door where they managed to enter the store room.

Their CCTV footage shows the three people frantically grabbing shoes off the shelf, only for them to realize that there was only one shoe in each box.

Yep, we'd all love to see the look on their faces but they were masked up.

Chad has some pretty impressive strategies.

The one-shoe strategy is something that Chad uses to deter delinquents.

Of course, alongside the smart shoe-hiding strategy, the store owner has alarms and sealed off each area of his shop.

Still, the fact that the culprits were able to get in riled Chad up, and when asked if he was angry about the incident, he replied: "Oh absolutely, I've looked at it probably hundreds of times in the past couple of days."

He added that those who attempted to make off his merch didn't exactly look like hardened criminals "It's sad, I mean, you can tell in the video that these kids are young."

Now Chad is planning on installing even great security measures, including gates, bars, and more alarms.

But, people were still incredibly impressed with Chad's current methods to stop people from stealing with one user saying: "Good job to the store owner I can’t stand a thief!!!"

A second person said that the guy was someone to look into: "This guy is my hero! I love the one shoe in each box trick!"

While another added: "If I had a business I would set it up to where tear gas would go off if somebody broke in. Not even joking a little bit. That and an incredibly loud alarm that would pretty much bust somebody's ear drums and super bright lights. You can pretty much make a business to where it's impossible to burglarize it if you prepare enough."

We still can't get over how smart the one shoe strategy is.
