Nanny Faye, who is dubbed as 'TikTok's favourite great-grandmother', has shared a reassuring take on not being scared to die.

It is sometimes easy to forget that no matter our religion or our cultural background, we are all living with the same predicament that one day we will no longer be here.

But one incredibly chill great-grandmother has given her take on being at peace with death:

Nanny Faye was born in 1925 in Texas, US, and her great-grandson has helped manage her TikTok account, which has gone viral in the process.

Well, one user decided to ask Faye: "I’m scared of dying and can’t help it. Can you ask her if she is and how to help with that? She’s sweet!"

"Noooo! Why should I be scared? Honey, what’s there to be scared of," the Nanny replied.

"This is just waiting for that. This [life] is just a little interim time. It’s a blip.

"It really is not going to amount to a hill of beans hardly… Less than 100 years up to eternity doesn’t even cut it."

Her heartwarming response was followed by her belief in The Bible.

"Your faith is to be put in what that Bible says," she said.

"That Bible presents to you the most marvellous…place to live and to dwell and to be happy and to be perfect."

Nanny Faye then talks about the idea of Heaven and in that moment we will have 'no sickness and no sorrow'.

"There is going to be perfection. Everything’s going to be lovely.

"No sickness, no sorrow, no… people out of work, no trouble in any direction. There’s not going to be any of that stuff that worries the tar out of us here."

Despite the fact that many of us have a different opinion when it comes to religion, those in the comments section were grateful for her 'heartwarming' explanation.

The great-grandmother was born and raised in Texas in 1925.

One person commented: "We need more of her in this world."

"This is proof why our elders should be cherished!" another added, as a third wrote: "Our lives on earth are just a temporary spot. Our home is with God."

Someone else thought: "I wish I thought this way. I have such death anxiety. bless her."

While another added: "Oh my goodness!! She’s so right!! everything will be perfect there!!

"She’s so beautiful, thank you for sharing this with us! Made my day."
