A TikToker's t-shirt hack has left people so impressed they think it's 'home economics worthy'.
It's 2024 and swaths of people across the globe are trying to do their bit to help the environment, with Greta Thunberg's face popping into their head every time they even dare think about browsing fast fashion clothing sites.
But what happens when your t-shirts begin to look a bit worse for wear and you don't want to go out looking scruffy, your finger itching to have a cheeky scroll online and find a quick and cheap replacement instead?

Well, thankfully there's a way you could salvage your clothes if the issue is the neckline's become too stretched.
A TikTok account for an Australian pre-loved online marketplace called OV Market - which goes by @ovmarket - took to the platform to share the life hack and it's so good people are saying it should've been taught in schools - learning how to cook, write an email inquiring about a job application and how to pay taxes could've also been quite handy, eh?
In the clip, a man explains how to fix an overstretched neckline on a t-shirt with a rubber band and pot of boiling water - yes, it's really that simple.

The man reveals you have to pop a rubber band around the top so just the neckline of the t-shirt is popping out and then boil a pot of water, popping the neckline part of the top into it.
As if following a recipe for a food dish, you leave the t-shirt in the water for between 30 seconds to a minute, take it out to let it 'rest' and then let it dry.
And voila! The process should've tightened the neckline of the top - should've being the operative word here, I see you people who don't bother to follow instructions properly and who think you can get away with it.
And it's not taken long for people to flood to social media to weigh in on the hack.

"This is definitely home economics worthy," added someone else.
"I got like 15 thrifted shirts im boutta revive [sic]," said another as they expressed their intention of trying the hack out for themselves.
A different person continued: "I wish I had seen this three weeks before I gave that shirt away."
One TikTok user commented on the original video post questioning whether the t-shirt will simply stretch again after it's washed.

However, the user responded it 'doesn't' and even said the hack really does 'work every time'.
Learn something new every day, eh?
