TikTok users were left confused by a Chipotle server threw away a customer's order for an unknown reason.
If you have been to a Chipotle or Subway, you know it can be satisfying to essentially design your own meal with absolutely no effort.
You tell them what you want and bada-bing bada-boom, they add all the additions you want.

But in one video that has gone viral on TikTok, one customer at Chipotle had a less than ideal experience.
Posted on the Banigocrazy TikTok page last week, the video has garnered over 1 million views and social media users were left just as speechless as the customer.
The user captioned the video, 'I’m speechless’, and the video caption read: "POV: Chipotle workers don’t like when you ask for more protein."

In the clip, the user is heard explaining what he wants on his Chipotle bowl order and when it comes to the meat, he said he wanted half and half steak and chicken. So far so good.
But before the server moves on, he asks if she can add a little bit more chicken to which she turned around and placed the order in the bin.
The server then says they can do that and begins remaking the order. Bizarre.

The customer can even be heard asking why she threw it away, albeit in a very defeated tone.
Users on social media began weighing in on what happened and questioned why all the food had to be dumped rather than more chicken simply being added to the existing order.
“I’m so confused why she threw it away,” one user wrote.
Some users suggested the serve may have noticed there was something wrong with the existing order, like a fly or hair was already in the food.

While others remarked servers can face punishment if they do not know exactly how much food they are giving customers in their orders.
“As an ex chipotle employee is the managers who twist our arms to make sure we know exactly the portions we serve otherwise WE get punished,” one user wrote.
“I don’t work at chipotle but I work at subway and there’s nothing more annoying than a customer asking for a little bit more MF THEY COUNT EVERYTHING,” wrote another.

“Because our higher up constantly whine and portion sizes we don’t like them but we gotta follow it.”
“When I worked there I had crew members walking up to me complaining about the portion sizes I was giving out.”
UNILAD has contacted Chipotle for comment.
