The most typical reactions to a busker on the street tends to be giving them some spare change, filming them or, well, simply ignoring them.
But rarely would you think ‘oh that’s nice music, let me just slam their instrument to the ground’.
Yet one woman has gone viral for doing just that.
Impressive street busker ‘theandrewshoe’ on TikTok was doing his thing in Athens, Georgia, when he was totally interrupted.

Andrew often records his performances and happened to catch this unlucky occasion on camera.
Singing his ‘last song of the night’ – Billy Joel’s ‘Piano Man’ – he warned: “This is one of the worst things somebody’s probably ever done to me while street performing.”
At the beginning of the video, Andrew is impressing a small crowd with his musical talent as a young woman walks over and slams her hands onto the keys.

I mean, whenever we see a piano there is that overwhelming temptation to hit those notes, but maybe not in this situation.
His audience told her to ‘stop’ and encouraged the musician to ‘keep going’ as she walked away.
In the video, he says: “So this kind of stuff happens here and there so I usually just keep playing through it but after what’s about to happen I had to stop.”
As he starts getting into another verse and people sway along, the woman appears again.

But this time, as she slams her hand onto the keys, she knocks his entire instrument onto the ground.
There’s some screams in the background as even she appears pretty shocked.
He asks: “What’s wrong with you?” As she repeats: “I’m so sorry.”

Yet she can’t have been that sorry, as instead of dropping some money into his bucket, she appears to actually take some.
The small crowd booed her in shock and one kind guy came over and handed Andrew some cash.
“Shoutout to the guy that tipped me after and all the people that came and helped out after seeing what happened,” Andrew said. “It really restores my faith in humanity.”
As the clip went viral online, users on Reddit slammed her as ‘trash’ and say ‘she needs to be arrested’.

In love for ‘Piano Man’ also joked: “There’s a special place in the underworld waiting for her for interrupting that song.”
Andrew reminds his viewers in the clip: “I do this to see people happy so please don’t harass the person in this video.”
