A little girl has ended up on Santa's good list in light of her standing up for herself.
Like many kids will be doing this festive season, three-year-old Adley went to go and see Santa to tell him what she'd like for Christmas this year.
Most children opt to sit on Santa's lap to tell him their requests, but this youngster stood her ground and declined to do so.

And Santa had a perfect response to Adley reluctance to sit on his lap which her mother, Katie Love, shared to her TikTok page. Have a look:
In the video that's since been viewed two million times, Santa says: "I said this is her body, and she is in control of her body."
He went on: "I asked if she wanted to sit on my lap and she said 'no', and I said 'way to stand up for yourself and way to say what you believe is right'."

While Santa was praising Adley, people on social media have since been praising him for his response.
"We love an educated Santa," wrote one person.
A second said: "I love this. No reason to pressure her to be uncomfortable for a picture," while a third went on to gush: "I love this more than you can ever know."

Others went on to praise the man as being the 'best Santa'.
While this Santa has received high acclaim online, another more famous Santa is supposedly 'f**king rude'.
And that Santa is Tim Allen's version from The Santa Clause franchise, which now has its own Disney+ spin-off show.
Season two the The Santa Clauses is now streaming on the platform, and one of his co-stars has spoken out about his behavior on set.

Casey Wilson, who plays the adult version of Sara (the kid in the original movie who wakes up when he comes down the chimney), said of Allen: "Tim Allen was such a b*tch.
"It was the worst, truly single worst experience I've ever had with a co-star ever."
She went on to say on the B*tch Sesh podcast about her scene with the Hollywood star: "Everybody was walking on eggshells around him and people just looked frantic.

"And when he was done, he was so f***ing rude. Never made eye contact, never said anything. It was so uncomfortable."
UNILAD contacted Disney and Tim Allen's representatives at the time of Wilson's comments.
