The internet has been completely divided after a woman spoke of a crazy flight she recently encountered, which saw her husband be forced to intervene due to a 'badly behaved' child.
Flying from Atlanta to Denver, TikToker Shay-la Monnier was enjoying it like any other until an hour left of their three hour and 15-minute flight, but what occurred was enough to turn heads 'fives rows in front and behind'.
Taking to the app the mother-of-five spoke in-depth about the 'shocking' incident which left both her and her husband fuming when they returned earlier this week.

Sitting in front of the couple was a family, a child she explained was no younger than three and no older than five in the middle seat and her mask-wearing parents either side.
She said: "The kid in the seat in front of me turned around and went [does farting noise with mouth] like that with spit flying all over my face and my husband's arm."
Shay-la continued to explain how 'shocked' she was but when the parents reacted it 'became a thing'.

Shay-la went on to explain how the child managed to stand up and 'spit on us again' and again - three times in total.
The grandma-of-six continued: "After the third time my husband very sternly said to the parents 'if you don't get your kid under control I'll do it for you', and 'why don't you put a mask on her, you guys are both wearing masks why doesn't she have a mask if you can't control her put a mask on her'."
Commenting on her video, users were split in what they said they would do - with some saying nothing, others saying 'it's just a child', or even to give her 'crayons or a toy'.

Shay-la replied: "I guess you don't understand how out of control she was.
"There was no talking to her she was fighting to get over the seat and as soon as she got over the seat she was spitting, I'm not negotiating with a child who was spitting in my face, I'm not doing it.
"Is everybody seriously gentle parenting these days because I'm not about it?"

While people agree that something needed to be said, was telling another parent that you would control their child for them and telling them to put a mask on really the best way to deal with it? Let us know what you think!
