A woman has divided opinion on social media after she revealed she was kicked out of a job interview due to her attire.
Job interviews are just a stressful experience, right? On top of all the nerves you've built up, you've got to keep in mind some of the questions you may get asked, while also being able to keep it together at the same time.
Especially if you're having a face-to-face interview, your attire certainly plays an important role, and it could even be the difference between getting a job and being unsuccessful.

Well, one woman took to TikTok last week to reveal she had been kicked out of a job interview for wearing a clothing staple many are dubbing 'insane'.
Tyreshia – who goes by the name of @mtyreshiadaily on the popular video platform, revealed she had to 'get changed' after turning up for a job interview wearing black shorts, a white top and a cardigan.
"I cannot believe the recruiter asked me to change my interview clothes then come back. I look very neat and professional, so no!" Tyreshia explained in a caption to the video.

The short clip sees the TikToker standing facing the camera wearing the clothes she apparently wore to the job interview.
“The Recruiter REJECTED Me Because Of This,” she wrote over the video.
After rocking up at the job interview for the unspecified job wearing that attire, Tyreshia claimed the employer asked her if wanted to go home, change her clothes and then come back.

The TikToker was having none of that though, as she said: “I was like, no?”
Over 45,000 people have flocked to the comments section of the video, with Tyreshia very much dividing opinion.
"You should see the stuff I seen people wear to interviews, there’s nothing wrong with this in warm weather," one person who defended the woman said.
"Once again i get to wonder, what's wrong with americans? is nothing ever normal in america? here in Europe (minus UK maybe) this is a very normal office outfit in warm weather," a second added.

Many others were on the recruiter's side, though.
"They were polite to reschedule you. most would've just outright rejected same day," one TikTok user quipped, while a second added: "Hey so shorts to an interview is insane."
The video has blew up on TikTok with close to five million views at the time of writing.
