A TikToker has shared an unusual video on social media while cosplaying as Miles Morales.

Malik Ambersley has generated quite the following by acting as Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star, Miles Morales.

In fact, people like his content so much that the content creator boasts almost a million followers on TikTok.

The unusual NPC character trend on the video sharing platform became increasingly popular last year.

Malik will often live stream in public - something that doesn't always work in his favor.

In one clip posted in recent days, the TikToker was confronted by a drunken man while he was filming. The man then apparently fell over and puked off camera, leading to the video being cut short.

In light of this, Malik's followers have urged him to invest in a green screen instead of doing lives out in public so it doesn't have to put himself in situations like that.

And this is definitely some advice he should have taken on following a new video of him being called out by a member of staff after the NPC cosplayer scaled some shelves - in what seems to be an Home Depot - to film content from the top of them.

In the video that's been shared to Malik's Instagram page and elsewhere online he's seen filming from the unusual spot as a member of staff spots him.

"How did you get up there?" he's asked.

"I just climbed up here. I'm Spider-Man," Malik replied, but the woman evidently wasn't in the mood for his shananigans.

"I need you to get down please, right now," she went on to urge, before Malik replied with Miles Morales' iconic line of 'Imma do my own thing'.

The member of staff then threatens to call the cops, but Malik didn't seem to be willing to budge.

It's unclear if the police were called or not as the video then cut out.

People have since reacted to the unusual video, with some labeling it as 'embarrassing'.

"Bro running out of spots to do his Tiktiok live," wrote one person.

"This is just embarrassing now, its 2024," said a second.

Others urged him to apply for a job at Home Depot while he was there.

But some people weren't as critical and actually found the whole thing pretty funny.

Someone said: "Someone caught NPC Miles Morales standing on a top shelf during a TikTok live, and it's hilarious! Can't stop laughing!"

Another person penned: "He funny as hell for hittin her with his signature quote."

UNILAD have approached Home Depot for comment.
