The first look at Michael Mann's biopic on Enzo Ferrari has been revealed, and it's safe to say Adam Driver looks unrecognisable as the Italian racing pioneer.
Last year, Driver tested out his acting chops (and Italian accent) as Maurizio Gucci in House of Gucci, starring alongside Lady Gaga.
And it looks like the practice is going to be put to good use, as he'll now be starring as the Ferrari founder in the upcoming movie.

As well as taking on the Italian accent once more, the Oscar nominee has been transformed with a slicked back, silver fox hairdo.
This week, the producers of Ferrari shared a first-look photo of Driver in the film – aside from his name matching perfectly with the theme, the actor looks every bit the part with his new 'do, smart suit and sunglasses.
As for the plot, it will centre on the life of Ferrari in 1957 as he deals with family issues while also preparing for the Mille Miglia auto race that year.

Since the racing driver was born in 1898, this means he'll be around 59 years old in the movie, making him far older than the actor playing him, who is currently just 38.
But by the looks of things, he'll pull it off as he always does.
Per the official synopsis: "Ferrari is set during the summer of 1957. Ex-racecar driver Ferrari is in crisis. Bankruptcy stalks the company he and his wife, Laura, built from nothing 10 years earlier.

"Their tempestuous marriage struggles with the mourning for one son and the acknowledgement of another.
"He decides to counter his losses by rolling the dice on one race – 1,000 miles across Italy, the iconic Mille Miglia."
Plenty of people are excited to see the movie, which is set for release in autumn 2023.
Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari for Michael Mann – it already smells like a classic.

"Incredible filmography when you take a step back, he is able to play everything, under any direction, and he is only 38 years old."
"Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari already looks like a success," said another, while a third added, "Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari in Ferrari is such a different, sick look."
A fourth revealed that they're currently in 'three separate group DMs', all of which are talking about the actor's upcoming role.
