Grown Ups actor Adam Sandler had very kind words for his fellow actor Brendan Fraser, who is returning to the industry following a period of absence.
Sandler was being asked questions at a press conference about his Netflix basketball drama Hustle - which released on the streaming platform earlier this year.
In this press conference, Sandler was also asked about his friend and former co-star Brendan Fraser.

The pair featured together in the 1994 comedy Airheads as members of a struggling US rock band.
Alongside Steve Buscemi, the trio have the genius idea to hijack a radio station to make sure their terrible music is heard. You can watch the trailer below:
Well, it seems like Sandler and Fraser still talk based on the lovely comments Sandler said about his fellow actor.

He said: "He's just so smart, such a deep guy, and he's such a loving sweetheart.
"We've been talking a lot lately and I couldn't be happier for him.
"His performance, I saw [The Whale], is ridiculous. He's always been great, he's always been as deep as it gets. When we were doing Airheads, he was on a different trip than all of us.
"He really took [Airheads] serious, he took everything about the full growth of his character and his look and what each line meant. He was never messing around."

Sandler added: "The fact that he got to make The Whale, and a bunch of great movies over the years, but the fact that it's at such a great crescendo for him right now is not a shock.
"I wish him the best - I hope every dream comes true for him. He's a good person. I wish him nothing but the greatest."
Fraser is making his film comeback with The Whale where he plays a 600lb man who is trying to rekindle a relationship with his teenage daughter.

It comes after comments Fraser made in 2018 that he felt he was being 'blacklisted' from Hollywood after he opened up about alleged historic abuse.
The actor claimed he was a victim of sexual abuse by former president of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Phillip Berk.
In an interview with GQ, he said: "His left hand reaches around, grabs my ass cheek, and one of his fingers touches me in the taint. And he starts moving it around. I felt ill.

"I felt like a little kid. I felt like there was a ball in my throat. I thought I was going to cry... In my mind, at least, something had been taken away from me."
Berk has always denied these claims, saying to GQ: "His [Fraser's] career declined through no fault of ours."
