Amazon Prime Video has finally released a trailer for Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck's erotic thriller Deep Water.
It's Valentine's Day and Prime Video has a gift for fans with the trailer for Dark Water, directed by Adrian Lyne.
Fair warning that the trailer is a little steamy, so maybe don't watch it at your desk. Or do, totally your call.

The trailer sees de Armas ask 'why are you the only man who wants to stay with me?', with Affleck answering 'I don't know' but then adds that he does know.
So, a little confusing and tense from the offset but that's what erotic thrillers are about, right?

'The film takes us inside the marriage of picture-perfect Vic (Affleck) and Melinda (de Armas) Van Allen to discover the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to the people that get caught up in them', the synopsis reads.
Still, the trailer isn't the only part of the film that seems elusive. Deep Water was produced by 20th Century Fox, prior to its merger with Disney.
Initially, it was due for release way back in November 2020, but was pushed back due to the pandemic before being scheduled for release on January 14, 2022.
However, there was barely any marketing or promotion building up to the film.

The movie was then pulled from Disney's release calendar and set for streaming service release instead.
While not much is known about why the movie's release was moved to streaming services, it's still highly anticipated by fans.
Fans of the book will know that the film is based on the Patricia Highsmith novel of the same name.

It also marks Lyne's first movie in 20 years, with the director becoming known for his work on Indecent Proposal, Unfaithful and Fatal Attraction.
Affleck and de Armas were first linked while filming the movie, with sources from the set saying, 'their physical chemistry was so intense on set. It’s all anyone could talk about. They had great chemistry right from the start'.

'Ben always seemed very relaxed and happy around Ana, but at the time there were no signs of romance. He was very focused on making a fantastic movie'.
The pair did actually date for a year after and were said to have left things on amicable terms.
Deep Water is set to hit Prime Video and Hulu on March 18.
