The third season of Bill Hader's HBO series Barry has come to its dramatic close, and viewers have been blown away.
The dark comedy thriller - created by and starring Hader - has been heaped with praise by fans and critics alike, earning itself a pretty ridiculous 99 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The third series' finale has just aired, but there's another one in the pipeline, so if you haven't watched it yet you may want to seriously consider going back to the start and getting up to speed in time for season four.

The show sees Hader take on the role of titular character Barry Berkman, a hitman who stumbles into the world of acting.
The synopsis reads: "Barry is a dark comedy starring Bill Hader as a depressed, low-rent hitman from the Midwest.

"Lonely and dissatisfied in his life, he reluctantly travels to Los Angeles to execute a hit on an aspiring actor.
"Barry follows his 'mark into an acting class and ends up finding an accepting community in a group of eager hopefuls within the LA theatre scene. He wants to start a new life as an actor, but his criminal past won't let him walk away —can he find a way to balance both worlds?"
From this premise, Hader has been heaped with plaudits for his writing, directing and acting; indeed, he has won consecutive Emmys for his performances in the show - and people think it's just a matter of time until he makes it a hat-trick.
