Fans of Black Mirror are used to feeling disturbed or distressed after watching an episode of the dystopian series, but rarely disappointed.
However, the newest episode of Netflix show, 'Mazey Day', has viewers calling it the 'worst episode ever'.
The fourth episode of the show's sixth season revolves around a paparazzo, played by Deadpool 2's Zazie Beetz, driving a television star to suicide after selling photos of him and his secret male lover to a magazine.

Overcome with guilt, the paparazzo then quits and starts a new job.
There, she is offered $30,000 if she can get a photo of Mazey Day, who went missing after a hit and run in the Czech Republic.
Ultimately, the photographer discovers that May is hiding out because she was bitten by a werewolf and is hiding out to prevent herself from hurting others.
And fans took to Twitter to express their dismay.

One wrote: "Mazey day down there as one of the worst black mirror episodes ever."
While another fumed: "Mazey Day would make a decent episode of any other show, but it ABSOLUTELY does not belong in Black Mirror. It’s a stain on an otherwise good season.
"This is what happens when you Americanise an intelligent show."

Another said: "Did ChatGPT write the Mazey Day episode of Black Mirror? Cause what in the abomination was that???"
A fourth viewer wrote: "It's a ridiculous premise that doesn't fit Black Mirror. It could have been set anywhere, and some of the movie actually wasn't even set in America. Paparazzi culture is European too.
"The episode isn't specific to America so the blame game of 'americanizing' it is ridiculous."
Elsewhere, a fifth fan tweeted: "Most of the episodes this season didn’t feel like a black mirror episode except for 2. The others I felt like I was watching another show.

"They were also weirdly predictable not sure if they did that on purpose."
A sixth person complained: "That was so bad. I was patient with how slow the pace was, expecting something to happen eventually but then it just turns out to be so disappointing," whilst somebody else grumbled: "idk [I don't know] they kinda had me…then the whole werewolf thing happened and it was just like wtf [What the f**k]."
Currently, Mazey Day has a Rotten Tomatoes score of 43 percent and has received two stars from The Independent.
In contrast, the end of Beyond The Sea' has fans claiming it has the 'darkest' and most 'unsettling' endings ever.
