Netflix has a lot of exciting stuff coming up in 2022, but perhaps nothing has got fans more excited than the return of Chris Evans to our screens.
Since bowing out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and taking a turn as the villainously charismatic son in Knives Out, both of which were released in 2019, the man responsible for America's A** has been taking a bit of a break from Hollywood, appearing only in two small cameo roles over the past two years.
But, as Netflix has revealed, that's about to change, with Evans set to star in the streaming platform's upcoming action movie The Gray Man, reuniting with Avengers directors Joel and Anthony Russo.
In a clip featuring a compilation of footage from a host of original movies set to hit Netflix over the next 12 months, Evans' brand new look for his upcoming film has finally been revealed, and it's fair to say it's not what most of us will have been expecting.

Gone is the sculpted beard and finely-quaffed hair we've come to expect of Evans, with the actor instead debuting what can only be described as an extremely 70s moustache.
'V important facial hair update: Chris Evans has a (glorious) mustache in The Gray Man,' wrote Adam Chitwood of The Wrap - and he wasn't the only person to have noticed.
Opinions on social media seem pretty divided over the 'tache, with some people eager to embrace the transformation.
'I don’t care chris evans in a mustache is hot to me,' one person wrote with another commenting 'Moustache Chris Evans is back!'

But others were less keen, including one person who tweeted 'every bit of respect I had for the Russo Brothers just went in the trash after seeing the mustache they gave Chris Evans in The Gray Man. Straight to jail.'
'We survived one mustache era, we’ll survive another,' another fan wrote.
The Gray Man stars Evans alongside Ryan Gosling as a pair of CIA operatives put at odds with each other, with an all-star cast including Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page and Dhanush.

With a budget of around $200 million, Netflix revealed upon announcing the project in 2020 that it was the most expensive film they'd ever made.
The streaming giant is yet to confirm a release date for the film, so we'll have to wait a little while longer to see Evans' moustache in all its glory.
