A third Hocus Pocus flick is on its way, with Disney bigwig Sean Bailey confirming a third adventure chronicling the bewitching hi-jinx of the Sanderson sisters is on its way.
The President of Walt Disney Studios Motion Picture Production sat down with the New York Times to chat about everything to do with the Mouse House.
In doing so, Bailey revealed there are more than 50 movies currently in their various stages of development and production.
These films include live-action versions of Moana, Hercules and Lilo and Stitch.

But one title sure is to have fans elated at the thought of another installment.
In the interview, Bailey confirmed that Hocus Pocus 3 is happening.
So, for those of you who may have wished upon a star to see the Sanderson sisters - played by the iconic trio of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy - return once again after the long-awaited-for sequel, well, here's your magic moment.
But Bailey has remained tight-lipped about what the film will cover, when it will be set, or really any other details at all.

But, following the rave streaming success of 2022's Hocus Pocus 2, which saw the cackling trio of witches reunite 29 years after Kenny Ortega's 1993 original, it's no surprise Disney would be hoping to replicate the same magic all over again.
The sequel apparated onto television screens on September 30 in 2022 on Disney Plus and quickly broke record for the total number of minutes watched by a streaming film across its weekend debut, Entertainment Weekly reported at the time, quoting Nielsen tracking data.
According to the Nielsen tracking information, keen fans absorbed a massive 2.73 billion minutes of the Anne Fletcher-directed sequel.

The Sanderson sister sequel only has 103-minutes worth of runtime, so by crunching the numbers, that means the movie was watched in full around 26 million times over its first three days of release.
That would have been pretty magical news to Disney, with the Mouse House touting Hocus Pocus 2 as 'the biggest opening for a streaming movie ever recorded' in Nielsen history.
So it's no wonder Disney is so keen to whisk fans off on a third adventure to Salem, care of the magically maniacal Sanderson sisters.

Now we'll just have to wait on the edge of our seats for more news.
Or you could start casting spells or wishing upon magic genies to speed up time, if that suits your fancy.
