Well, one proud fan took to Reddit to share the mind-blowing find.
Posting to the R/MovieDetails thread, they wrote: "Toy Story easter egg: The tools that Sid uses are Binford tools.
"Binford is the company that sponsors the show Tool Time within the show Home Improvement."
And in another mad twist, the poster pointed out: "Tim Allen (voice of Buzz Lightyear) was the star of that show."

Of course, Disney has teased for years that their animated movies are linked to the same universe - but this one suggests Toy Story exists in the human world too.
Family sitcom Home Improvement ran between 1991 and 1999 on ABC and starred Allen as Tim Taylor, a handyman who, within the show, presented the Binford-sponsored home improvement show Tool Time.
Hollywood star Pamela Anderson featured as Tool Time girl Lisa, assisting Tim by bringing him over his necessary tools, while Richard Karn played co-host Al Borland.

Redditors were shocked by the Binford Tools detail, as one wrote: "Honestly one of the coolest Easter eggs I’ve been exposed to. Thank you OP for being this into my life."
A second agreed: "Now THIS is a movie detail!" as a third admitted: "I would’ve never noticed this!!! Wow that’s so cool."
A fourth realized: "Holy s**t. Pixar is the Tim Allen Cinematic Universe."

A fifth quipped: "This means that in the Home Improvement universe, the toys are alive."
Toy Story released in 1995, four years after Home Improvement debuted.
Allen was part of the original voice cast alongside Tom Hanks as Woody, Wallace Shawn as Rex, Annie Potts as Bo Peep and John Ratzenberger as Hamm.
But he was replaced by Chris Evans for 2022 Buzz Lightyear spin-off Lightyear.
Director-screenwriter Angus MacLane told Vanity Fair that producers opted for Evans to portray Lightyear's 'action hero' arc, differentiating from Allen's 'goofy, comic relief' version of the character.
Allen is set to reprise the voice of Buzz once more for Toy Story 5 which is slated for release next summer.
