Fans have spotted a touching Loki tribute in the new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, and they probably would've spotted it sooner had it not been for Chris Hemsworth's butt.
Let us explain... the new trailer for the highly anticipated Marvel flick dropped last night, 23 May, showing us Natalie Portman's Jane Foster as the Mighty Thor, not to mention our first glimpse of Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher.
But one moment that really grabbed the attention of the MCU fandom arrived right at the end, when Russell Crowe's Zeus accidentally flicks too hard at the Space Viking, causing his clothing to rip right off of his body.

Although Marvel did do us the courtesy of pixelating Hemsworth's cheeks, it's no surprise that most people's eyes were drawn straight to that area of his body, causing them to miss Thor's full back tattoo dedicated to his mischievous adopted brother.
As you can see in the shot, his ink job is a massive drawing of Loki's iconic Horned Helmet and a heartbreaking detail for fans of the Thor films.

Love and Thunder marks the first of the series without Tom Hiddleston's God of Mischief after he was killed in the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
Now, we all know Hiddleston's beloved trickster returned in an alternate timeline in Disney+ series Loki.
But as far as Thor's concerned, he's dead, and has decided to honour his fallen brother with the sizeable ink job.

Safe to say fans were touched when they spotted the reference, with one writing on Twitter: "THOR GOT LOKI'S HELMET TATTOO BRB CRYING."
Another wrote, "I know we're all focused on other parts of that scene, but did y'all also catch the Loki helmet tattoo Thor has?"
"Me eating my lunch and crying about Thor’s tribute tattoo to Loki so how’s everyone’s day going so far," said a third, while a fourth quipped, "If Loki never gets to roast Thor for having a trashy back tattoo that says 'RIP Loki' i'm suing Marvel."
That latter comment isn't completely beyond the realms of possibility, given the ever-growing multiverse in Phase 4 of the MCU.
We'll just have to see if the God of Mischief does ever get to return to roast Thor for his trashy tat.
