After the new trailer dropped for Thor: Love and Thunder earlier this week, many fans reckon someone's missing from it, speculating how they may have been edited out of the film’s footage for the teaser.
You’ll no doubt remember how, ahead of Spider-Man: No Way Home being released last year, some eagle-eyed folk were able to find ‘proof’ that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire would be joining Tom Holland in the new flick, having found a scene where it looked as though they’d been edited out to keep the secret up.
Now, social media users think something similar has happened with Love and Thunder – see if you can see where someone’s been digitally removed in the trailer here:
Sharing a screengrab from the trailer, one person wrote: “Someone's definitely edited out in this shot.”

To demonstrate their point, they also scribbled in a drawing of a stick man to illustrate where they thought someone should be standing.
Responding to the tweet, which has racked up more than 78,000 likes, many people took a guess at who had been edited out, with answers ranging from Loki and Beta Ray Bill to – a little more leftfield here – a cameo from Deadpool. Others suggested it may just be Jane Foster, despite the fact her character has already been announced, while some joked it must be Drax... clearly just standing incredibly still.

Elsewhere in the trailer, other fans noticed an inconsistency with Thor’s eye.
Cast your minds back to the last time we saw him smashing his hammer about in Avengers: Endgame, when Thor was sporting a fake eye after losing his right eye fighting his evil sister Hela in Thor: Ragnarok. Rocket Raccoon had given him a brown false eye in Avengers: Infinity War, and the God of Thunder clearly enjoyed the two-tone vibe so much that he carried it over to Endgame.
However, a few close-ups of Hemsworth's face in the new trailer show that his fake eye is now... blue?
The detail didn’t go unnoticed by eagle-eyed fans, with one tweeting: “Why does Thor have his blue eyes in the new trailer? The artificial eye was a different color.”
In the replies, some people attempted to have a stab at why this might be, with one joking: “His artificial eye just received a software update that’s why.”

Someone else put forward a much simpler – but perhaps more probable – suggestion, saying it could well be down to some of the finer details of the film’s computer-generated imagery not being ready yet.
They said: “Because they aren't done with the CGI yet. You can tell in some scenes look like PS4, lol. I'm sure they'll fix it OR explain it.”
Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in cinemas on 8 July.
