The new Superman suit has been revealed, leaving superhero fanatics divided.
As filming on James Gunn‘s Superman continues, the director has shared a first look at David Corenswet in costume.
Those who have been following the film may be remember it originally being called Superman: Legacy.

However, Gunn revealed back in February he was cutting the name down to just Superman.
At around the same time, the writer-director posted the first cast photo from the movie’s first table read of the hugely anticipated script.
And today, Gunn has revealed the new Superman suit for the first time on social media.
Fans appear to be loving it so far, with one saying: "You guys ate James. Can’t wait to see this suit in action!"

And another said: Great costume design @jamesgunn so ready for this."
However, some don't seem to be as impressed and many are calling for the return of Henry Cavill, who announced in 2022 he wouldn't be returning as Superman.
"Bring back Henry Cavill pls," one said, as another penned: "We took Henry Cavill for granted."
Starring opposite Corenswet in the new superhero film is Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Hoult is taking on the role of Superman’s villain Lex Luthor, while the likes of Skyler Gisondo, Anthony Carrigan, Edi Gathegi, Nathan Fillion and Isabela Merced feature on the cast list.
Superman officially releases on 11 July.
