Everyone else looks around in surprise and excitement as they witness the confirmation that Daenerys' long journey has come to a bloody end right before she could take the Iron Throne.
These clips of footage from the table reads of the final season of Game of Thrones have been great fun to watch, especially for fans of the show who were less than pleased with the way things all turned out.
Without them we wouldn't have got the moment Varys actor Conleth Hill became an absolute icon during his death scene, his disappointment clear for all to see at the way his character was wasted.

The moment he chucks his script onto the table and leans back has been picked up by disgruntled fans as evidence that he was not happy at all with the direction his character took in those final seasons.
Plenty of fans thought Game of Thrones failed to stick the landing after eight seasons by rushing out an ending with fewer episodes and some unpopular wrap-ups to character arcs.
Many especially didn't like how Daernerys suddenly decided to unleash dragonfire on the city of King's Landing when it had just surrendered to her, a decision which ultimately led to Jon Snow killing her.

One commented that the moment was a 'terrible ending to a fantastic show', while another said 'the shock is them realising how s**tty the ending is'.
Someone else said they thought they saw 'cast members pretending to be moved' at the dramatic ending rather than showing actual emotion.
Others were more complimentary, with someone saying they 'miss this show' and another calling the dramatic moment the 'best ending possible'.
Meanwhile, Kit Harington may have thought this was the last we'd see of Jon Snow at the time, but it turns out that he'll be back in a spin-off sequel.
