90s sitcom Friends has some of the most dedicated fans out there, but many have been shocked to discover that Joey had his own spinoff show.
Following the news of Matthew Perry's tragic passing, many fans have been going back to rewatch old episodes of Friends, where the actor became famous for his role as the hilarious Chandler Bing.
But, many were shocked to find out the show's last episode — which saw the gang leaving Monica and Chandler's apartment for the final time and going for one last cup of coffee together — wasn't actually the end, for one beloved character, at least.
That's right, when the show came to an end in 2004, Joey Tribbiani (played by Matt LeBlanc) got his own spinoff show, appropriately titled Joey.

Never heard of it? Don't worry about it. You're certainly not the only one.
Joey ran for two seasons between 2004 and 2006, and followed our favourite Italian-American, played again by Matt LeBlanc, as he headed out to Los Angeles to try and make it big in Hollywood.
Along for the ride in Joey's solo show is his older sister Gina, who is just as promiscuous as he is.
She's the mother to Michael, who is the total opposite of his uncle and struggles to attract the opposite sex.

There's also Joey's ditzy landlady Alex, fellow actor Zach and his agent Roberta, played by the iconic, Jennifer Coolidge.
But, the show was ultimately a flop. Written by a different team to that on Friends, it didn't capture the same humor as the original show. Ratings were poor and Joey was cancelled after just 46 episodes.
Since then, it has virtually vanished from public memory.

So, when a fan shared a video about the sitcom on TikTok, users were understandably confused and also desperate to watch it.
@grace.mitscherlich said in the clip, which has been viewed almost 2 million times: "They made a spinoff to Friends called Joey and it's the biggest mystery to me.
"I have scoured the internet and the only way you can watch this is buying the DVD on Amazon.
"This TikTok account has lots of clips from it but you can't find full episodes anywhere except for Amazon."

Another commented: "Joey had a spin off?! When did this happen?"
And a third simply said: "WHAT?"
