Filming a sex scene for a film can be awkward or fun for actors but most probably don’t expect it to be rash-filled.
Glen Powell and Adria Arjona star as the lead in Netflix’s upcoming film Hit Man and Arjona has spoken at how hilariously bizarre was to film their sex scenes.
Not because the pair don’t have good chemistry or any of the logistics not working - but rather because they both ended up with an annoying rash.
Speaking on the Just for Variety podcast, Arjona said that both she and Powell were in pain while shooting their intimate bathtub scene and were covered in a 'crazy rash'.

She continued: “That was the day that we filmed all of our sex scenes – all of them with a crazy rash.”
“We were both in so much pain. We would just die laughing, ‘How much makeup do you have on your ass right now?’ I was like, ‘So much, it’s not even funny'.”
So, what was the cause of their discomfort?

Well, someone had decided to add in Dawn Dish washing soap into the tub.
“That strips you of all your oils of your skin,” Arjona said. “That’s used for baby ducks when there’s an oil spill for God’s sake.
"We soaked in this bathtub for an hour and I get out of the tub and all of a sudden I dry myself and I can’t bend my knees because I have no oils,”
Nothing sounds worse than dry sex scenes.

She also added that the pair were shooting all of the film’s sex scenes that day so the pair essentially just had to suck it up and deal with it.
Despite the oddness - and irritation - she said that she and Powell had fun filming the scenes, which people interpreted differently than intended.
“We keep saying we had so much fun. People were taking it in a different direction,” she said.

"We had fun because it was so funny. We were both in pain with makeup all over this rash and it was funny.”
The film’s premise sees Gary Johnson (Powell) work with the New Orleans Police Department posing undercover as a 'hitman' with the goal of arresting suspects.
However, these plans are interrupted when the ‘hitman’ meets Maddy Masters (Arjona) and a romance blossoms despite her intent to have her abusive husband murdered.
And it's quite the funny story to help introduce the dark comedy thriller that is set to hit select theatres on May 24, before later becoming available on June 7 to Netflix.
