Adam Sandler has still got what it takes after whipping out the Happy Gilmore golf-swing 25 years later.
Almost three decades ago, cinema-goers were introduced to a highly-strung wannabe hockey player with a unique talent for golf.
Happy Gilmore went on to join the professional golf tour and the rest was history.

After realising Sandler is still up for par, fans are still begging for a sequel. Watch below:
Ahead of the film's 25th anniversary, Sandler posted a video to social media back in 2021, showcasing that his golfing skills were still intact.
Acknowledging he hadn't dusted off the famous move since the 1996 film, Sandler told the camera: "I'm scared. Shooter McGavin, this is for you."

After replicating the famous shot with ease, Sandler added: "And I'm not lying to you that is smashed, smashed.
"That went pretty well. You're dead, Shooter."
Commenting on the resurfaced clip, viewers are yet again calling for another film, as one fan said: "We need a Happy Gilmore 2 please. We demand it from you."

"Bring back Happy Gilmore 2! That’s what the people want," a second added, while a third penned: "Yes need Happy Gilmore 2 please."
Another wished: "You realize he's doing this practicing for Happy Gilmore 2, they just pitched it to netflix for his contract with them."
At the time, Ben Stiller - who portrayed Nana's evil caretaker at the nursing home - also had a message for Gilmore character.
He wrote: "That's a beautiful swing, Mr. Gilmore. Congrats on your anniversary, and being such a loving grandson. So happy to be a small part of taking good care of her during her 'golden years'."

As the nostalgia train kept rolling, Christopher McDonald gave fans exactly what they wanted by responding as Shooter McGavin.
After recording himself put in a perfect putt in his living room, McDonald said: "Why don't you just meet me on the ninth green at nine? It's a secret of the pros.
"And Gilmore… wear something nice."

Despite the incredible throwback, what fans really want to know is will there actually be a sequel?
Well it seems Sandler is certainly up for reprising an older version of character.
He told Variety last year: "Wouldn't that be fun to do the senior tour of Happy Gilmore, and hang out with all those guys and try to write a great script about Happy as an older guy, and having to calm down his temper and all that stuff?
"But, I never know. Maybe one day, something like that."
