Jimmy Kimmel has branded Marjorie Taylor Greene a 'sociopath' after she reported him to the police over a joke.
The Republican, QAnon-supporting congresswoman filed a report with the Capitol Police after a recent episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, in which the host discussed the lawmaker's criticism of GOP members supporting Ketanji Brown Jackson.
After Greene accused Republican senators Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney of being 'pro-pedophile' - there's no basis to this false narrative - Kimmel called her a 'Klan mom' and joked: "Where is Will Smith when you really need him?"
This was obviously in reference to Smith smacking Chris Rock across the face at the Oscars after cracking a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, an incident which has seen the actor apologise, resign from the Academy and banned from the Oscars for 10 years.

Sharing this clip, Greene tweeted: "@ABC, this threat of violence against me by @jimmykimmel has been filed with the @CapitolPolice."
A spokesperson for the congresswoman also said: "Our office takes all threats of violence towards the Congresswoman very seriously. Last night, Jimmy Kimmel called for violence to be committed against Congresswoman Greene. It will not be tolerated."
Kimmel initially responded with his own tweet, writing: "Officer? I would like to report a joke."

On Thursday's show, he went further, saying: "She called the police and reported this!
"Not only did she call the police, she called the same police she voted against giving a congressional gold medal to for defending our Capitol against the insurrection she helped incite on 6 January. That’s who she called: the people she wanted to defund.
You can watch Kimmel's full response below:
"It’s amazing how quickly you can go from, ‘These liberals who can’t say anything any more’ to, ‘What’d you say? I’m calling the cops!' It must be that cancel culture they’re always talking about."

In another tweet, Greene wrote: "This was a dog whistle to the violent left to assault me or worse, and your [sic] already inspiring fantasies against me. How many new death threats will I get that are your fans?"
During the show, Kimmel also said: "Not only don’t I condone death or any kind of threats against anyone, especially since I get dozens of them a week myself from the sickos who align with you, I also find it very rich that a person who did this in her campaign ad [in which she 'blows up socialism' with a semi-automatic rifle] is whining about fantasies of violence.
"Now she’s dialling 911 because she got made fun of. She’s a snowflake and a sociopath at the same time.
"A snowciopath, as we’ll refer to her from now on... if she’s going to report me to the police, if that’s how she wants to play it, I’ll report you right back... I'll report you to the Justice League."
