The man playing Winnie the Pooh in a new horror film has said it's not for the 'faint-hearted'.
Craig Dowsett scored a stellar part in the slasher flick, Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, but the actor was quick to warn that it's not going to be an easy watch.
So, buckle up and get ready to see the beloved bear like you've never seen him before:
The film's trailer dropped today, and it looks as mad as it sounds, with everyone's favourite honey-eating bear turning into a bloody, vengeful villain.

Directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield, the independent flick is set to ruin your childhood - like seriously slash through it with an axe.
If you're wondering what exactly the film is about, and if you couldn't gather from the trailer, the plot sees Pooh and Piglet go on a violent rampage after Christopher Robin abandons them.
And, we managed to have a chat with Winne the Pooh himself, actor Craig Dowsett, who said the film really packs a punch.

"When I first read the script I knew this was going to be special! It left me stunned, amazed, and excited."
"I then knew straight away that playing the role of Winnie the Pooh in this horror retelling was going to be an epic journey."
And what does that epic journey through the 100-Acre Woods entail?
Well, as Craig explained, it's pretty intense: "Viewers can expect a serious storyline with lots of violence and gore, not for the faint-hearted."

While there's no release date currently confirmed for the film, Craig teased that a follow-up could be within reach: "The director had already spoken of his desire to run a sequel so only time will tell with that, but yes I would definitely be interested in being a part of it once again."
Here's hoping the rest of the cast are as eager to sign back up because the film looks hilariously creepy.
Craig is playing Pooh Bear opposite Chris Cordell who plays Piglet, AKA the deadliest dynamic duo we've seen to date.

The rest of the cast includes Amber Doig-Thorne, Danielle Scott, Maria Taylor, Danielle Ronald, Natasha Tosini, May Kelly, Paula Coiz, and Natasha Rose Mills.
If you're wondering - doesn't Disney own the rights to the cute bear we all know and love? Well, Disney no longer holds exclusive rights to the character, making it fair game for slasher lovers.
And we can't wait to see the results.
