Whether you've seen the Barbie movie or not, you've probably seen that viral photo of Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie.
Filming for the Oscar-nominated movie took place over the course of 2022 and, before official promotional shots were shared the paparazzi snapped a scene being filmed with Gosling (Ken) and Robbie (Barbie).
The scene is question is the one filmed on Venice Beach in Los Angeles, but it wasn't where they were or what they were filming that left the Wolf of Wall Street star a little bit red faced. It was what she and her co-star were wearing.
In the paparazzi shots of Gosling and Robbie, the pair were seen donning matching neon-colored lycra outfits.

With their rather bold ensemble in mind, Robbie admitted she was mortified when the snaps were distributed.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show, Robbie was shown the leaked snaps by host Jimmy Fallon, where she shared how she felt in the moment.
“I can’t tell you how mortified we were, by the way,” she said. “We look like we’re like laughing and having fun, but we’re dying on the inside. Dying. I was like, this is the most humiliating moment of my life."

When asked about if she thought the photos will prompt the online response they did, she replied: “No! I mean, I knew that we had some exteriors to shoot in L.A. I knew once you were doing exteriors, you’re gonna get papped.
"There’s probably going to be a little crowd of people who are going to take notice because, you know, we stand out a little bit in those outfits.
"So I knew there was going to be a little bit of attention, and probably some photos would get out there, but not like it did."
She added: “It was like mad. It was like hundreds of people watching all time.”

But her humiliation wasn't in vain as Barbie went on to be a box office hit.
The film grossed a staggering $1.446 billion at the box office - making it the highest grossing movie of 2023.
It has received an impressive eight Oscar nominations, but sadly Robbie and director Greta Gerwig were snubbed.

Gosling was nominated for Best Supporting Actor, however, while America Ferrera has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress.
But Robbie took the snub in her stride, saying: "There’s no way to feel sad when you know you’re this blessed."
