Marvel has confirmed two new Avengers movies are on the way in 2025, and they're called Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars.
The films will be part of Phase 6 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The Kang Dynasty will release on May 5th 2025, while Secret Wars will come later on November 7th 2025.
This is the first time ever two Avengers films have released in the same year.

They will be part of the newly-announced Multiverse Saga, which kicked off in Phase 4 of the MCU.
Phase 4 is set to end in November 2022 with Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, with Phase 5 beginning in February 2023.
The announcement was made as part of Marvel's panel at San Diego Comic-Con, with some other massive films and series being confirmed.
They will be the first Avengers films since 2019, when Avengers: Endgame put an end to the Infinity Saga, and it appears these two movies may play a similar role with the Multiverse Saga.

The exact lineup of the Avengers is yet to be confirmed and will likely be determined by what happens in Phase 5. It's uncertain whether any of the old lineup will return, with Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff both dying in Avengers: Endgame.
One potential Avenger could be the new Black Panther, who's been teased in the trailer that's just been released for sequel Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Endgame is currently the second highest grossing movie of all time after making $2.798 billion at the box office. It was the highest grossing of all time for a brief while, before Avatar reclaimed the title courtesy of a cinematic re-release.

Disney will definitely be hoping for similar success with the follow-ups, and the MCU certainly shows no sign of stopping just yet.
The franchise may even have a rival within the MCU, as Marvel also confirmed that the Fantastic Four's debut movie will be released in November 2024.
The existence of the movie was confirmed at Marvel's last Comic-Con panel in 2019, after months of speculation following Disney's purchase of 21st Century Fox, who owned the rights to the Fantastic Four.

The cast is yet to be announced but there's already a lot of hype over the blockbuster, despite it being more than two years until it's released.
We are three years away from the Avengers re-assembling, but you can bet your bottom dollar Marvel fans don't care and are already beyond themselves with excitement.
