The MCU is attempting to combat superhero fatigue with the release of the final trailer for the Marvels, however, it has divided fans.
The Post-Endgame MCU has seemingly struggled to captivate audiences the world over, but Disney hopes to return to form with its latest blockbuster, The Marvels.
The latest trailer for the film dropped on Monday evening, but fans have struggled to come to a unanimous decision on how they feel about it.

Some have said the trailer has truly got them excited for the film, while others have suggested the MCU’s best days are behind them.
The film does play into Marvel's past successes by having both voice overs from Chris Evan’s Captain America, Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man as well as Josh Brolin’s Thanos.
Before shifting attention to the stars of The Marvels, Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan and Teyonah Parris’ Monic Rambeau.
“Adding footage of Iron Man and Captain America will not generate any hype and help save this movie, what are they even trying to do. This looks so desperate,” one critical fan wrote on X.

“Oh God, not the use of Tony and Steve to try and generate hype,” another added.
“Using Endgame and both Tony and Steve is wild. They know this movie has so little hype,” wrote another.
“Looks like a fan edit of past MCU glory,” said one X user.

Other fans were more forgiving of the nostalgia bait and said they were not excited for the blockbuster.
“I know they’re just throwing in tony, cap and the avengers theme to add in that nostalgic hype but damn it’s lowkey working on me,” one surprised fan commented.
“Ya’ll mad in the comments cause they used avengers footage like they didn’t do that for Ant Man as well. Selective outrage anyways,” another defended.
“They should have broken this trailer out sooner as its so much better than everything else they’ve shown,” one user commented.

An official synopsis for the film reads: "Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.
"When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe.”
The Marvels is currently set to be released on 10 November, 2023.
