If you're already starting to feel like Love Island is a little bit dull this season, may I formally present MILF Manor - TLC's insane new dating show.
When the series was announced back in December, it was advertised as a dating show for older women, ranging from 40 to 60 years old, dating a group of younger men. What they didn't mention, was that the younger men would be... their sons. Take a look:
The moms who signed up were shook when they realised that the eligible young bachelors joining them in their plush Mexican villa would be each other's sons - but none of them were as horrified as the viewers at home.

Dating on reality TV is one thing, but watching your child - or parent - get it on right in front of you is a whole other kettle of fish.
In one scene from the premiere that aired this week, we see mom Kelle, 50, and her son Joey, 20, trying to figure out how their dynamic was going to work.
It's all fun and games at first, as Joey watches his mom flirt with another boy his age named Jose.
"I'm not calling you Dad," he tells Jose.

"Well, I'm calling you Daddy," Kelle chimes in.
I sincerely cannot believe that this is real.
But, as the sun sets, Joey starts to get a little uneasy with how intense his mom's flirting is getting - particularly with one of the boys named Ryan.

He writhes and cringes in their shared - yes, shared - bedroom while Kelle sends flirty texts to Ryan, telling him he should 'come upstairs' and see her.
That's not to say Joey isn't having a good time overall.
In another scene from the premiere, Joey chats up April, 59, the mother of his fellow contestant Gabriel.
"Older women are very hot and I've got the swag and I've got the game for them," he tells cameras... and his mom.

In case you were wondering, no, you're not the only one who is disgusted by this.
Since the show aired, the reaction from viewers has been pretty intense.
"What kind of mom would do this with their child," one horrified viewer asked. "So inappropriate, disgusting"

"This concept wouldn't be so weird if they weren't all dating each other's moms/children," suggested a second. "Just seems too personal for it to work out. Plus idk how I'd feel about watching a bunch of dudes my age trying to romance my mom."
I can probably take a wild guess here and say it would not feel good.
Anyway if, for some masochistic reason, you think you'd enjoy this, you can watch the second episode of MILF Manor on Sunday, 22 January on TLC if you're in the US, with a UK air date coming soon.
