Blonde has only been on Netflix for a matter of days, but many viewers have already voiced their discontent at the movie biopic.
The controversial film follows the life of Marilyn Monroe, and is based on the bestselling 2000 novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates.
Blonde carries the rare rating of 'adult only', the first Netflix original film to have such a strong rating.

Some viewers have said the film's handling of sexual assault and trauma were handled in a poor way, and some have said they regret watching the film and have warned others to avoid it.
One fan wrote on Twitter: "Shame on the producers of #Blonde how to degrade and humiliate a woman. #disgusting I'm sorry I watched it."
A second added: "I watched blonde on Netflix and I have mixed feelings. great acting but the movie in general.. terrifying. the way Marilyn was treated by men and this industry… the story they showed is HORRIBLE. it’s a horror movie. I'm traumatized and heartbroken. I don’t like it."
Meanwhile, a third said: "Enjoyed is not the word I'd use for #BlondeNetflix it is utterly horrible. Kermode might have been right to view this one as a horror. I've no idea about Marilyn's life and this is based on a book of fiction, so don't consider this a biopic. Watch it and make up your own mind."

A fourth said: "Tried to watch @netflix Blonde,” one Twitter user commented. “Couldn’t stomach more than about 20 minutes of the nearly three hours length. That 20 minutes was nothing but cruel and heartbreaking. Absolutely unwatchable."
The film isn't receiving much better reviews from industry critics either with it currently sitting at 43 percent on Rotten Tomatoes from 222 reviews.
And it is only slightly better at 49 percent on Metacritic.
Before the film launched on 28 September, Actor Ana de Armas, who plays Marilyn Monroe in Blonde, discussed nude scenes in the film.

In an interview with Variety, de Armas said it was 'disgusting' clips of her naked would likely go viral after the film was out.
She said: "It's upsetting just to think about it. I can't control it; you can't really control what they do and how they take things out of context."
"I don’t think it gave me second thoughts; it just gave me a bad taste to think about the future of those clips."
