Netflix has given us brilliant film after brilliant film, and the latest flick viewers think you need to add to your to-watch list is called Viking Wolf.
The Norwegian film, which dropped on the streaming platform on 3 February, is being praised as one of the 'best werewolf movies' ever. Check out the trailer below:
Viking Wolf's official synopsis reads: "After witnessing a grotesque murder at a party in her new town, a teenager starts having strange visions and bizarre desires."

The thriller stars Elli Müller Osborne, Liv Mjönes and Arthur Hakalahti, and while it does not have an English language dub, if you're willing to persevere with the subtitles, it looks like you'll be well rewarded for your efforts.
One viewer praised: "#vikingwolf was an amazing Werewolf Film. I don't always watch Norwegian films but this was a fantastic introduction! [sic]"
"Viking Wolf on Netflix was damn good stuff," added a second. "My kind of ending."

"If 2 hours ago someone asked me what I thought about the Norwegians I would've said, 'I dunno. Wtf you asking me such a random ass question for?' But now I'd say, 'I think they make a pretty darn good werewolf movie," praised a third.
"And that's my review of #VikingWolf."
"Just finished Viking Wolf on Netflix. A slow burn, which I like. And some of the best werewolf design I've seen in a bit," shared a fourth, while a fifth added: "Viking Wolf (2022) is a very solid werewolf film. Recommended for fans of werewolf movies."
A sixth observed: "The little subtle muzzle and 'just starting to show signs' facial prosthetics in Viking Wolf are 10/10."

Elli Müller Osborne, who stars in the film, told Letterboxd that she drew upon her own love of storytelling when stepping into the shoes of its teenage protagonist, Thale Berg.
She said: "I remember well that I loved to write little stories when I was very young.
"I toyed with the idea of making my own film when I was around ten years old. I wrote a long fantasy story about a girl living out in the forest.

"I don't remember all the details, but it was one of my first ideas related to film in a way. It was a kind of vampire-and-werewolf horror film set in a lonely, gloomy Norwegian forest.
"That's almost how I feel I 'manifested' the role in the Viking Wolf."
Viking Wolf is streaming on Netflix now.
