As all social housing has been eliminated, Izi (Kane Robinson) and Benji (Jedaiah Bannerman) must navigate the world as residents of The Kitchen.
The movie - directed by Nope’s Daniel Kaluuya and Kibwe Tavares - will chronicle the struggle of the pair as they attempt to forge relationships.
Football fans should also watch out for The Kitchen as Arsenal and England legend Ian Wright also stars.
Witness this science fiction drama when it drops on Netflix on January 12, 2024.
Griselda
This year, Modern Family’s Sofía Vergara will step out as notorious cocaine trafficker Griselda Blanco in a limited Netflix series.
The forthcoming miniseries - entitled Griselda - is inspired by the Colombian businesswoman - known more commonly as the Black Widow.
The latter masterminded one of the most profitable drug cartels in history before her arrest in February 1985.
Consisting of six episodes, the crime drama has been produced by Eric Newman, Vergara and Luis Balaguer.
The biographical series will be streaming in full on January 25 2024.
Avatar: The Last Airbender
Anime fans unite because this year, Netflix is finally releasing the live-action reimagining of Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The eight-episode TV show is an adaptation of the beloved Nickelodeon series of the same name, which ran between 2005-2008.
Starring Gordon Cormier as twelve-year-old Aang, and Ian Ousley and Kiawentiio as brother and sister duo Sokka and Katara, the show will also feature Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko and Paul Sun-Hyung as retired Fire Nation general, Iroh.
The action-adventure offering has been developed by Albert Kim and will drop via Netflix on February 22, 2024.
Bridgerton - series three
Bridgerton fans rejoice — as series three of the Shondaland show is finally landing on Netflix this year!
In December, it was announced that the third series of the steamy regency romance would be dropping in two parts.
The first four episodes of Bridgerton series three will premier on May 16 on Netflix, before the final four drop on June 13.
This season, Penelope Featherington's (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton’s (Luke Newton) romance takes centre stage, while the former will also attempt to patch up her relationship with her former best friend Eloise Bridgerton (Claudia Jessie).
Speaking about the show, showrunner Jess Brownell said: “I really feel like it’s Colin and Penelope’s time.
“Because we’ve been watching both of these actors on our screens since Season 1, we’ve already invested in them a little bit. We know who they are as people.”
So get your gladrags on, because we’re so excited to be going to the ball!
The Gentleman
Guy Ritchie’s 2020 movie, The Gentlemen, is getting the TV treatment this year.
If you haven’t got around to seeing the flick, then you don’t need to worry - all you need to know is that the Netflix show is set in the same world.
The Gentlemen show will follow Eddie Halstead (Theo James) who, following his father’s death, inherits his sizeable estate.
However, when he discovers his land is part of a weed empire, he is forced to sink or swim in the dark criminal underworld.
Skins star Kaya Scodelario, Vinnie Jones, and Daniel Ings also star in the Netflix series, which is heading to streaming at some point this year.
A Family Affair
Fans of the 2012 thriller The Paperboy will be ecstatic to hear that Zac Efron and Nicole Kidman are teaming up again.
However, instead of investigating murder, the pair are expected to fall head-over-heels in love with one another in the new movie, A Family Affair.
In the upcoming romantic comedy, Efron will play Chris Cole - a big-shot Hollywood movie star.
However, when he becomes entangled with his assistant Zara’s (Joey King) mother, things get a little complicated and awkward in the trio’s world.
A Family Affair was supposed to be released on Netflix last November. However, it was pushed back and it has yet to be given a new drop date.
We have our eyes peeled.
