Netflix have decided to 'shelve' a documentary about the disappearance of a Dayton man nearly 30 years ago, it has been reported.
Back in 1994, George Phillip Gall, got off a bus in Dayton, Ohio and shortly disappeared.
Gall - also known as Phil - was last seen walking towards a nightclub called Asylum - which was reported to be have been 'goth-themed', according to WTRF.com - and what happened to him after that remains a mystery to this day.

The case went cold pretty quickly and Gall was officially declared deceased by the state of Ohio, the outlet says - that was until 2008 when a retired police lieutenant, David Williams, came forth with some shocking claims.
Williams, who was a 'nationally recognized expert on the occult and gangs' as per The Daily Express US, said he'd visited the nightclub that Gall was last seen near while undercover, where he was allegedly told by a bartender that he'd been involved in an 'occult ritual'.
This supposed 'ritual' saw Gall 'beheaded' before his head was 'sold as a relic for the occultist involved'.

Williams further claimed that the nightclub attracted a 'gothic, vampire-like' crowd - ultimately sparking speculation that Dayton was home to the 'second-largest coven of vampires'.
And Netflix had planned to tell the horrifying tale in a new documentary known as Vampires of Gem City, which was to be directed by Joshua Rofé.
According to a plot synopsis from What's on Netflix, Vampires in Gem City aimed to follow Gall's story after he 'went missing' in the nightclub which these alleged vampires 'used as their headquarters', and the case subsequently being revived when a 'police officer comes forward in 2008 with a story'.
However, it now appears that the documentary may not be happening after all.

George's wife Helen Gall and his maternal uncle, Dan Phelan, told The Columbus Dispatch that producers had allegedly emailed them to state the documentary would not be going ahead.
According to Phelan, producers began working with Gall's family three years ago on the show about his disappearance.
Helen Gall said she was hoping the documentary would happen as to bring attention to her husband's case.

She said: "I was hoping they would air it so people know what has happened to my husband so we could get the word out there.
"I need answers as to why they did this."
