If you're a subscriber to Netflix - and let's face it, who's not - then you'll know it can be difficult to know what to put on.

And it's one particular Jason Statham film that is the talk of the town right now - though it's maybe one you wouldn't exactly expect.
The English actor has very long resume when it comes to films, including the likes of Fast and Furious, The Italian Job and the recently released Beekeeper.
However, it is the 2005 movie Transporter 2 that has people talking right now thanks to its Netflix presence.
The action film directed by Louis Leterrier and starring Statham alongside Amber Valletta, Keith David, Matthew Modine, and Kate Nauta, has had roaring success recently.

The film follows Frank Martin (Statham), who becomes involved in a mysterious kidnapping involving the son of a US official.
Frank accepts a job as a chauffeur and bodyguard to young Jack (Hunter Clary), though not everything goes to plan.
Politician Jefferson Billings, father of Jack, is crusading against an international drug cartel. And as you can imagine, that creates a lot of issues.
Transporter 2 has found itself in the Netflix Global Top 10, coming in second place for the week of 8-14 January.

During that time, it was viewed 5.8 million times on the popular streaming platform.

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one person penned: "Transporter 2 is the finest Jason Statham movie."

A second added: "Transporter 2 being my ultimate comfort movie."
While a third remarked: "I think I like Transporter 2 more but the first one is a banger. Not sure what happened with 3, they lost the magic."
Many have contributed the recent success of Transporter 2 as a result of the release of Statham's latest, The Beekeeper.
The actor's lates flick begins with retired operative Adam Clay (Statham) living a quiet life, but things soon turn sour when his neighbour takes her own life after falling victim to a phishing scam.

Unfortunately for the shady company running the scam, it transpires that Clay is a retired but still highly dangerous member of a clandestine organization called the ‘beekeepers’.
