Netflix subscribers are heaping praise on an insane new documentary they say is 'wilder than Tiger King'.
There's no doubt that the streaming giant absolutely crushes its true crime content, whether they're re-examining cold cases like the murder of JonBenet Ramsey or retelling a mom's 'gut wrenching' search for her daughter.
But Netflix's latest offering is so unbelievable, it sounds like a complete work of fiction - but it isn't.

The three-parter retells the story of an Elvis impersonator, who was wrongly accused of attempting to poison Barack Obama.
Paul Curtis' life was derailed when he was arrested in 2013 after ricin-laced letters were sent to the former president and two other US officials.
The deadly poison - made from the waste left when castor beans are made into castor oil - takes just three days to kill, inducing vomiting, bloody diarrhea and kidney damage.

Famous in his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi as one half of an Elvis tribute double-act with his brother, Paul was also a passionate campaigner for a rather unusual subject.
In 1999, while working in a hospital morgue, he learned about body parts being illegally trafficked and sold.
Paul advocated against this, becoming vocal on social media and even drafting a bill proposal to ban the sale of body parts in Mississippi.
This was only used to frame him for the poisoned letters, though - as the new '10/10' documentary series Kings of Tupelo: A Southern Crime Drama explains.

Paul maintained his innocence, and his community was left in shock when the real perpetrator was rumbled.
Fans have been binge-watching the series, which released on December 11, and have since taken to X to share their thoughts.

One praised: "Just finished The Kings of Tupelo! 10/10... again, Netflix has been cutting up fourth quarter" as a second weighed in: "If this wasn't the most wackiest, completely hilarious, unhinged, most insane true crime docuseries to date, I don't know what is.
"Five damn stars. You can't make that s**t up."
Many reckoned it's dethroned Tiger King as craziest documentary series ever. Ah, what a time that was...

One person wrote: "Kings of Tupelo is absolutely the craziest thing I’ve ever watched on Netflix. It is way wackier than Tiger King and that is saying something."
A second agreed it's the 'wildest documentary I've seen since Tiger King' ,while a third declared it 'the new Tiger King.'
Not sure Joe Exotic would be all too thrilled about that though...
Kings of Tupelo is available to stream now on Netflix.
