Netflix viewers have all been left with the same question after watching a new apocalyptic thriller on the popular streaming platform.

The current talk of the town is Leave the World Behind, which released on Netflix towards the back end of last month.
Starring the likes of Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Al, Leave the World Behind tells the story of two holidaying families fighting for survive amid a shocking global catastrophe.
What initially started off as a mass spree of cyberattacks across the US quickly turns into something a lot more serious that has left many viewers hiding behind their sofas.
An official synopsis for Leave the World Behind reads: "A family vacation on Long Island is interrupted by two strangers bearing news of a blackout. As the threat grows, both families must decide how best to survive the potential crisis, all while grappling with their own place in this collapsing world."

The film is based of the 2020 book of the same name, and industry critics are certainly liking it.
The new Netflix movie sits at an impressive 75 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes, certainly making it a recommendation for fans.
Brain Lowry, from CNN, penned: "Whatever one takes away from it, Leave the World Behind should trigger conversations beyond whether to hit the 'like' button. By that measure, give Esmail credit for a movie that up, down or sideways, makes it hard to look away."
While the Independent's Clarisse Loughrey added: "America’s sweetheart [Julia Roberts] has sprinted over to the dark side, and it’s a thrill to see what she does with it."

But after watching Leave the World Behind, viewers all have the same question and it all revolves around the ending of the movie.
Many have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to discuss their views.
"Leave the World Behind needs a part 2 or something, because that ending felt like the start of the real movie," one person wrote.

A second added: "Leave the World Behind on Netflix is so good but that ending imma fight whoever made it like that."
While a third remarked: "Leave the World Behind ending just p**ses me off omg where is the rest of the movie like."
