Netflix's new series Pact of Silence might have gripped fans across the globe, but there's one character who's leaving viewers absolutely infuriated.
Netflix users have literally been staying up all night to binge the series that dropped on the streaming service this month, starring Camila Valero, Adriana Louvier, Marimar Vega, and actor-singer Litzy.
It follows the story of a successful influencer named Brenda, who was abandoned at birth by her biological mother.

Over the course of 18 - yes, 18 - juicy episodes, viewers follow Brenda as she seeks to find out who was responsible for leaving her behind when she was so vulnerable.
"She’s on a mission to find out who left her for dead," the synopsis explains. "What she knows: The headmistress of the school where her bio mom went to once helped four teens get rid of a baby. So Brenda’s tracking them down, one by one, to exact her revenge."
Pact of Silence appears to tick all the boxes for a series that you can really sink your teeth into, but before you prepare to spend your weekend wrapped up in the story just be warned that there's one character who you might find a little frustrating.

Unfortunately, it's none other than Brenda herself.
While the character isn't enough to turn viewers off the gripping series altogether, many have been unable to resist taking to social media to vent about the character, played by Valero.
"Brenda took the revenge thing too serious .. if you want to know who your mama is, just go do a DNA [test] lol," one person wrote after starting the series.
Another Netflix user commented: "I've never hated a 'victim' so bad. Brenda is so annoying and this [series] is trash. I'm still gonna watch tho."

"It’s hard to feel sorry for Brenda! Girl you are doing way too much," wrote a third.
So it's clear that Brenda isn't everyone's cup of tea, but the rave reviews Pact of Silence has received from many other viewers indicates you shouldn't let her put you off watching it.
"I just binged watched 18 episodes of 'A Pact of Silence' on Netflix. Y’all, it was so good," one satisfied viewer wrote.

With the whole weekend ahead of us, what better way to spend it than by putting on your sweatpants, grabbing some snacks and hitting play on the series?
Plus, if you need to take a time out every now and again to vent about Brenda, that's fine too.
