A Netflix series that has gone down a storm with viewers is coming back for a second season.
Netflix is arguably one of the GOATS when it comes to hit original TV series - from Stranger Things and Mindhunter to You and The Umbrella Academy, it's rare that the streaming platform misses.
And one show that proved a hit after just one season was Supcacell, which landed on the platform earlier this year.
Supacell follows a 'group of normal people suddenly develop superpowers', with 'the only apparent connection between them is that they are all Black'.

As they are all dealing with their powers, they find themselves pursued by a secret organisation.
The series is so good that it boasts a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes' Tomatometer.
And if that wasn't enough to sway you to try it for yourself, many Netflix viewers watched all six episodes in one sitting.
Elsewhere others threatened to stop paying for Netflix if Supacell wasn't renewed for a second season - and now people's prayers have been answered.

Taking to Twitter today (August 13), Netflix announced: "SUPACELL SEASON 2 IS COMING."
The tweet included a promotional photo of season two, but it didn't have a release date on it.
Supacell fans have since voiced their excitement at the news.

Someone said: "Love that! The #SickleCell community is ecstatic we are getting the awareness and attention we deserve. Such a marvelous show!"
Another person raved: "Supacell is an absolute gem on Netflix that redefines the superhero genre with its fresh, innovative storytelling and richly developed characters.
"From the very first episode, I was completely hooked by its unique premise and gripping plot twists. Good to see the S2."
Someone else quipped that their monthly payment for Netflix has also been renewed in light of the news.

Others have called for Supacell's second season to have a bigger budget in the wake of the success that followed the first.
"Please increase the budget to make the action even better," pleaded a fan. "It deserves multiple seasons and a bigger budget."
Echoing similar sentiments a second person wrote: "Need bigger budget this time and hope better than season 1."
The creator of the show Rapman previously spoke to UNILAD about the prospect of another season.
He teased to us at the time: "I've told Netflix loads of times that I've got plans for multiple seasons. But you know how it goes, they're gonna see how it does, and hopefully we get the next season.
"But I told them, I've got a three-season idea story in my head. So, I got three, not saying it could never go over, but I've got three stories, these three seasons in my head, of where I know where the story goes.
"So, I'm hoping that it comes out, performs really well, and we can go on a second part."
