'Netflix Wrapped' reveals exactly how many minutes you've spent streaming this year

I think I'd actually prefer not to know, thanks...

Move over Spotify Wrapped, because an 'unofficial Netflix Wrapped' is now showing users how much time they've spent streaming TV shows and movies.

Ever wondered how many minutes, hours, or even days you've spent binge-watching the latest Netflix series?

Yep, briefly, me too, but no, after I quickly realized how depressing it would be to think about.

However, if you are brave enough to take a peep at just how anti-social you've been in 2024, a website has made an 'unofficial Netflix Wrapped' so you can get stuck in.

What's included in your 'Netflix Wrapped'

Well, not only are you going to end up depressed when you find out just how many minutes, hours, and, yes, days you've spent consuming trash TV shows and avoided going out and socializing this year, but 'Netflix Wrapped' also contains a whole lot more information about your viewing habits.

Features include the number of shows you've watched versus movies, your 'most bingeful day' - *gulps* -, your highest and lowest rated shows, the actors and directors that appeared most in shows and movies, your 'most completely watched show', and also your favorite genres.

If I had to predict mine?

Well, an unhealthy amount of minutes, far more TV shows than movies, my 'most bingeful day' was the day after my break up: Friends, Friends, and, well, more Friends.

If there was ever a way to feel like you've done nothing all year, this is it, but hey, at least you really made the most of that increased subscription price, eh?

But how do you get to see your unofficial 'Netflix Wrapped'?

How to see your 'Netflix Wrapped'

Well, the tool to dive into your watching habits actually isn't associated with Netflix, but has been created by Kapwing.

Should you dare to see your 2024 'Netflix Wrapped', you have to follow three steps through Kapwing's site, downloading viewing data from the streaming service and then uploading it onto Kapwing for your free summary.

It notes on its website: "In just a few minutes, this site will generate your Netflix Wrapped.

"[...] The unofficial Netflix Wrapped is a fun website made with love by the team at Kapwing and is not associated with Netflix. Your data is not collected or stored, and is only used locally to create your wrapped report."

UNILAD has contacted Netflix for comment.
