A woman has shared how she got her cheating ex back after discovering he was still logged onto her Netflix account.

Splitting from your partner can be traumatic, but the levels of that trauma fluctuate greatly - and even more so if your spouse was unfaithful and scrounging off your Netflix.

Well, a woman has come up with the 'perfect revenge' on how to get back at cheats that slyly continue to enjoy watching shows from your streaming accounts.

Taking to Reddit at shortly after midnight (ET) today (June 18), one user shared the issue she was having with her ex and the way in which she got him back.

"So yeah, my ex cheated and we broke up but apparently still felt entitled to my netflix," she posted.

"Made a whole new profile like we weren’t even broken up. Watched our shows. On my dime. I didn’t yell, didn’t revoke access but renamed the profile to 'Cheater', switched it to toddler mode, just peppa pig, no violence, and max parental locks.

"Even the avatar was a sad cartoon monkey."

Yes, hilariously she changed the account setting on his Netflix profile so that he could only watch kids shows!

Anyway, she wasn't done there with her story: "He texted: 'Seriously?' I replied: 'Seriously'. Then changed the password and blocked him. Enjoy your cartoons, loser. I’m watching Bridgerton in peace."

It sounds like a happy ending then!

Users reacted to her post, with one commenting: "No Netflix 'n no chill."

While another shared their brutal Netflix revenge they got: "I let my ex use my account for 6 months until winter set in where he lived and I heard from mutual friends he was snowed in. THEN I changed the password."

With another detailing their own story: "I annoyed the hell out of my ex by locking him out of the Amazon account. He was really financially irresponsible and I didn't want to risk him running up the credit card.

"I also didn't want him to know where I was living so locking him out prevented him from seeing my shipping address. He was pissed because he was in the middle of some shows."
