Netflix has brought out plenty of true crime documentaries that have left many of us wondering how some people can act in such an inhumane way.

We've had series like American Murder: Laci Peterson with fans hooked on disturbing details like the body language of her killer, as well as House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths which focuses on the death of eleven members of the Burari family in India.

Yet there's now a new true crime series that Netflix viewers have already called a 'must watch'.

From the creators of Worst Roommate Ever, its synopsis reads: "From chilling betrayals to murder plots, this true-crime docuseries dissects the dark side of love through eyewitness testimonies."

Fans have shared their thoughts on the new arrival, called Worst Ex Ever, which landed on Netflix on August 28 with four episodes.

Taking to the Netflix Bangers Facebook group, one viewer wrote: "OMFG! This will have your jaw on the floor from the start! I’m only 35 minutes in the first episode and I’m like..."

A second shared: "Watching it now! How do these humans become like this!"

Someone else claimed: "Watched it In one go. It got worst each episode."

Another put: "Omg this show was absolutely insane, the second episode was soo shocking!"

While one viewer chimed in: "It’s put me off dating for life."

The first episode is titled 'Dating the Devil' and focuses on Justine, who makes a call to a friend which then sets off a chain of events including a 'statewide police hunt for Ben, a recent partner with a monstrous dating history'.

The next episode, 'Betrayed by the Badge', features Seemona, who is lied to by boyfriend Jerry and when she ends the relationship things get ugly.

Next viewers meet Rosa and her story in 'Killing For Custody'. The episode focuses on how her ex-husband Eric is caught in a custody battle with Rosa and her mother working together to maliciously target him and his family.

Episode three focuses on Rosa and her mother Mei Li as they take on Rosa's ex husband Eric (Netflix)

The final episode of the four part series is 'Married to a Monster' which focuses Amanda and Kevin's marriage, which initially appears perfect. Yet after they divorce viewers watch as 'a chilling murder plot unfolds'.

The series is already the top watched programme on Netflix right now, and follows on from the success of Worst Roommate Ever which began in 2022 and has two seasons for viewers to get stuck into.

Worst Ex Ever is available on to stream on Netflix now.
