Fans are calling for another season of a popular series because they loved it so much.
With there being so much content on streaming platforms like Hulu, Prime Video and Netflix it can be hard to know what to watch - but fellow TV and film fans have done the hard work for you and continue to rave about a show that first aired in 2016.

Arguably making it even more appealing, the series is based on a true story.
Named Animal Kingdom, there are a whopping six seasons for people to stream on Prime Video at the moment.
The show's synopsis reads: "17-year-old Joshua 'J' Cody moves in with his freewheeling relatives in their Southern California beach town after his mother dies of a heroin overdose.

"Headed by boot-tough matriarch Janine 'Smurf' Cody and her right-hand Baz, who runs the business and calls the shots, the clan also consists of Pope, the oldest and most dangerous of the Cody boys; Craig, the tough and fearless middle son; and Deran, the troubled, suspicious 'baby' of the family."
Animal Kingdom boasts a star-studded cast with the likes of Peaky Blinders' Finn Cole, Ellen Barkin, Scott Speedman and Shawn Hatosy (to name a few).
Almost a decade on from its debut and fans are still going wild for it.

"The only thing that's missing in this show, is the 7th season, or even more," someone recently raved on Facebook.
"The characters were complex, the acting was believable, the heists were clever and interesting. The main story line was gripping and the flashback memory storyline was just as gripping and brought everything together. A perfect show. I would give it six stars if i could. Hoping for a spin off."
And this social media user wasn't alone in her feelings; someone replied to her post labeling the show as 'one of the best series ever'.

"This was one of our favorite series. We miss it so much," added someone else, while another Animal Kingdom fan branded it as '10 out of 10'.
While many are hopeful for a seventh season, sadly there isn't one in the works as it was previously confirmed that the sixth season would be the last.
TNT had renewed the show for a sixth and final season on January 14, 2021, before the fifth season premiere.
In regards to a spin-off, as of 2022 showrunner Daniele Nathanson said she 'hadn't heard anything' about one.

"Those decisions are made above me," she told TV Line. "But I think the ending is supposed to feel like an ending."
