While Barbie has been painting the town pink in most places, the United Arab Emirates is having to wait a little while longer to see her on the big screen.
Despite this, the living doll has made a very grand arrival in the country – thanks to an incredible video which shows her next to the Burj Khalifa.
Towering next to the world’s tallest building, the clip is even more impressive considering it was shot on an iPhone.
Dressed to impress, Barbie is shown in a striped romper with her blonde locks in a ponytail - an outfit which is virtually identical to her 1959 debut.

If that weren’t enough, the doll even comes with her own bright pink box which she smashes through as she steps out onto the streets of Dubai.
The impressive clip is the brainchild of Eye Studio (@eyestudioae), a boutique creative agency based in the UAE.
Employees Neal Santos and Taha Dungerwala were tasked with superimposing Barbie next to the world’s tallest building, revealing that they initially dithered on whether to use the iconic landmark.
According to the National though, they soon realised that ‘nothing beats the Burj Khalifa’ and ended up filming the clip on an iPhone before superimposing Barbie.

Understandably, fans have been excited to see the doll next to Dubai’s iconic landmark as the hype around Barbie continues to build in the country.
In fact, it has been liked over 183,000 times since it was first shared on Instagram last week.
Speaking about the response, creative director Juhi Rupani told The National that she’d been shocked that it went viral on social media.

"It's our most viewed content ever," she admitted, adding: "I wish I could give you an explanation as to what happened with the algorithm, but the truth is we don’t know what happened."
Fans have also been coming out to play in the comments, as they praise the impressive 3D model.
One even wrote: “I thought she was gonna come straight at me!”
To which another added: “This reminds me of the 'Doin' Time' video by Lana Del Rey.”

However, the reaction is hardly surprising given how well the film has been received.
During its opening weekend, Barbie took a staggering $377 million (£293m) at the global box office as it fought off Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer for the top spot.
Talk about girl power.
