A Beetlejuice fan has excitedly taken to social media to point out a moment where a new character in the second film is linked to the first.
With fans of the comedic horror having waited over 30 years for a sequel, when the trailers dropped for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, it didn't take long for viewers to pour over every single detail of the clips. Take a peek here:
The second film - directed once more by Tim Burton - will see the return of the iconic Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice and Catherine O'Hara as Lydia's mother Delia Deetz.

However, the movie is also welcoming some new additions in the form of Justin Theroux as a character called Rory, Jenna Ortega as Lydia's daughter Astrid Deetz, Willem Dafoe as ghost detective Wolf Jackson and Monica Bellucci as Beetlejuice's wife Delores.
And it's Bellucci's character of Delores which has been picked up on by eagle-eyed Beetlejuice fans.
A social media user took to X to point out a moment they noticed from a trailer for the sequel and how it connects to a scene from the original film.

They wrote: "Monica Bellucci is missing her ring finger in 'Beetlejuice Beetlejuice'. It was her finger that Beetlejuice whips out with a wedding ring on it to give to Lydia in the original film. #beetlejuice."
The clip from the first movie shows Beetlejuice holding a severed finger with a ring on it telling Lydia: "I'm tellin' ya honey, she meant nothing to me. Nothing at all!"
And it's not taken long for other fans of the film to flock to the comments to weigh in.

A third commented: "Great catch!"
"Well. Tim Burton still has it when he tries." A fourth echoed.

A fifth added: "WHAT A CALLBACK."
